Gradient Manicure

I've been in a polish slump for the past few weeks.  I've barely painted my nails and if I did, I didn't take any pictures.  Wednesday night I decided I was bored looking at my nails and I needed a manicure that would inspire me.  That's when I decided to do a rainbow gradient manicure.  I think I did well for my first try.

I painted my nails white with China Glaze Snow.  I then used a makeup sponge to do my gradient.  I used China Glaze Bahamian Escape, China Glaze Shocking Pink and Diamond Cosmetics Lemon Yellow Zest.

Milani Beach Front

The other day I was shopping at CVS and I saw a display of some new Milani polishes, so of course I had to pick a few up.  Today I'm wearing Beach Front, a pretty sky blue.  It's filled with silver shimmer and reminds me of the finish of Essie's Smooth Sailing.  Application was just okay.  It was really thick and needs some thinner.

This is 2 coats.

a england Lady of the Lake

This past week has been crazy and I've been too tired to edit my photos and post, but I'm back!

This is one of the polishes I wore last week, Lady of the Lake.  It's a dusty, holo purple and I love it.  It almost gives off a sort of grayed out look in some lights.  Application was nice.  There was no streaking like there can be with some holos, and it's reasonably opaque in 2 coats.  Love!
